At Survivors Outreach Ministries, we believe every voice matters, every survivor deserves to be heard, and every person deserves to live free from violence, abuse, exploitation, and oppression.

We remember the past. We celebrate freedom.

For years, addiction, dysfunction, trauma, codependency, and broken relationships pulled me further away from God. I tried to fix people. I tried to save people. I carried burdens that were never mine to carry.

Elizabeth Benty tells her story as the only living survivor of the Brown siblings' violence. In this powerful and emotional episode of The Healing Place Podcast, Elizabeth shares her journey of survival, resilience, and the lifelong impact of violent crime.

While one victim was murdered, another lost his life during a robbery, and Elizabeth herself survived being run over in an attack that left her with life-altering injuries, she continues to stand for truth, accountability, and justice.
