Survivors Outreach Ministries: Victims Rights Advocacy

 In order to help crime victims and their families deal with trauma and navigate the criminal justice system, a victim rights advocate offers them information, resources, and emotional support. Among their main duties are crisis intervention, legal rights explanation, referrals to safe housing and counseling in the community, help with paperwork like victim compensation forms, and confidential collaboration with law enforcement and other agencies 

On a case by case basis  we provide Holistic person-centered , 

strength -based court support to individuals with minor psychiatric and/or co-occurring challenges, involved in the Criminal Justice System, including initial contact with law enforcement through re-entry into the community from incarceration.  ONCE AGAIN we offer this service on a case-by-case basis and is limited only to survivors of abuse who have received charges as a result of "reactive abuse", "prositution charges", and minor drug offenses.

We provide assistance with explaining court processes, terminology, filling out pro se forms etc., Ensuring Court appointed/retained Counsel is working on your behalf, not just filling their pockets, Referrals to bail bond services and local attorneys or organizations who can asssit with expungements.
